The Department of Rural and Community Development have published a ‘Call for Input’ on the development of a national volunteering strategy. The document outlines the current state of volunteering in Ireland and poses a number of questions about how volunteering in Ireland can be developed and how challenges can be addresses. Answers to these questions will inform the development of a national volunteering strategy.
We encourage anyone with an interest in volunteering in Ireland to read the ‘Volunteering CFI’ document which can be found at the bottom of this website page and submit their feedback by the official deadline of 14th February.
How can I have my say?
We would encourage you to take time and offer your feedback by filling in the ‘Volunteering CFI – Submission form’ form that can be found at the bottom of this website page.
We know that some people may not have the time to make a detailed submission and address each question individually. Here are two other options which will allow you to have your say:
- Attend National Volunteering Strategy Consultation event in Dublin on Thursday, 31st January 2019. You can find more information and registration HERE.
- Volunteer Ireland are conducting an online survey of volunteers and organisations and you can fill it in HERE.
If you require a Submission Form in another format (for example, big print), or have any other query, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (076) 100 6950 or:
