Get Connected Conversation Salon – 9th October 2018

What time?7:00 pm — 9:00 am
Where is it on?Third Space Cafe, Smithfield Square, Dublin 7
Are you volunteering at the moment, or have you recently volunteered? Fancy meeting some fellow volunteers and sharing your volunteering experience? Would you like to help us telling European policy makers why volunteering is so important for our society?
Join us for our “Get Connected Conversation Salon” event on Tuesday 9th October 2018!
The event is part of a European project called “Get Connected – Volunteering and Shared Values”. With the project, we would like to find out more about the impact volunteering can have on people and their attitudes, values and connection to their community.
We are inviting people who live in Dublin City and who are currently volunteering or have recently volunteered.
So on the night, as part of our “conversation salon“, you will be invited to share your own volunteering journey and talk to other volunteers about your thoughts on volunteering, what challenges you might have come across and if you think volunteering had any impact on your values and attitudes. We will gather your input and report back to the European Commission.
Your conversation partners on the night will be other people from around Dublin City who are volunteering (or have volunteered in the past) in a variety of organisations. You might even pick up some ideas for your next adventure!
The event will take place on Tuesday, 9th October from 7-9pm at Third Space Cafe in Smithfield, Dublin 7.
We will treat you to some free tasty nibbles and a glass of wine or non-alcoholic drink.
Are you up for this?
Please register for the event to let us know you are coming. You are very welcome to bring a friend or family member who are currently volunteering or have volunteered in the past and would like to join the conversation. Please make sure to register them as well.
If you have any questions about the project or if you are not sure if this is for you and you’d like to have a chat about it, get in touch with Franzi at 01 473 7482 or email@example.com .
