We are keeping busy this September with a huge variety of events on offer this month.
We kick off next Friday with Culture Night on 18 September featuring our CRiTiCALL Podcast, telling the story of how a community came together to support people leaving domestic violence. Get Tickets
National Volunteering Week: 21-27 September – is our chance to thanks volunteers for the vital work they do, and celebrate the benefits of volunteering for everyone in the community. We have loads of great free events planned including:
- Meditation & Yoga Workshop: 22/23 September Treat yourself to 30 minutes of yoga, with 15 minutes gentle movement and 15 minutes relaxation. Kevin Boyle, yoga teacher, is offering 2 free online yoga & meditation classes during National Volunteer Week 2020. Info HERE
- Meet the Organization with Clean Coasts: 24 September Looking to volunteer? Learn more about their work and the roles volunteers play, and ask your questions. Clean Coasts programme works with communities to help protect and care for Ireland’s waterways. Info HERE
- Online Drop-in For Volunteers : 25 September Find out more about volunteering and how to use Dublin City Volunteer Centre’s service. Join us for our Zoom Online Drop-In Session. Info HERE
Last but not least is Social Inclusion Week from 28 September-4 October. We are celebrating with these events and more:
- Volunteer & Learn English: 30 September Improve your English language skills through volunteering! Join us to learn about roles suitable for English language learners. Info HERE
- Experience Counts Coffee Morning on Zoom: 1 October Our coffee morning for volunteers 50 + offers the chance to from volunteers about their experiences working with local organisations. Info HERE
