Tagged:

Registering your Volunteer Involving Organisation with the Volunteer Centre opens up a wealth of services. Dublin City Volunteer Centre  works to build the capacity of community and voluntary organisations to involve volunteers effectively. We provide a volunteer referral service, offering professional support, advice and training. Our website is a valuable resource for anyone involved in supporting volunteers.

How to Register

You can access the online registration form here.

We recommend that you complete this process on desktop/laptop as the site is not currently fully optimised for mobile. However, if you are completing the process on mobile please use this link instead.

It should take no more that five minutes to complete the online registration form, there are two main sections.

Section 1 – Your Organisation Details

Please ensure that all fields are completed and the information is correct. Incorrect details such as contact telephone or email address can impact the registration process.

Section 2 – Your Organisation Profile

Who will be the main contact person between your organisation and the Volunteer Centre?  Tell us about what your organisation does, a concise informative summary paragraph will be very helpful to potential volunteers. This information will also be used to determine how best to support you. It’s okay if you don’t have any volunteers yet or you don’t have a volunteer policy in place: We are here to help you develop these resources!

There are a number of drop-down options to help you along the way. The Status of your organisation might be; Registered Charity, Non Profit without Charity Number or Educational Establishment etc. Don’t forget to read the terms and conditions linked at the bottom of the form and tick the box to confirm.

When you are finished, simply click the big pink ‘Register’ button.

What Happens Next?

You will receive an email from us to confirm your registration. Included in this email will be your VCI Access Key, which will look like this: VCI-12345. This five number key will allow you to upload the details of any volunteer opportunities you would like to advertise on our online I-VOL database.

Whether you are just starting out or looking for ways to improve your volunteer programme, we would love to meet with you to discuss how we can support you best going forward. Get in touch to arrange an appointment.

Once you are registered you will be included in our database to receive regular communications from us, about developments in Volunteer Leadership, as well as upcoming training and events to benefit you and your organisation.
